Blumenfeld Development Group Presents Check to Long Island Family Readiness Group

Calling it, “among the most important charitable donations we make in the course of a year,” Ed Blumenfeld, president of BDG, is joined by his family and colleagues as he presents a check for over $21,000 to Beth Delli-Pizzi of the Long Island Military Family Readiness Group which assists the families of those deployed on active duty and those G.I.’s recently returned. Based at the Farmingdale armory of the Fighting 69th, the Readiness Group has become an important means of assisting military families that face a variety of issues. BDG challenged its employees to donate dollars and then applied a significant multiple to match those funds in making the contribution.

Blumenfeld stated, “There are very few opportunities to personally thank the men and women who defend our nation, our freedoms and our lives. This is one way to demonstrate our personal commitment to assist military families and our presentation marks yet another year of our pledge of support.”
