Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day Supports United Veterans Beacon House

Affiliated sales associates and employees from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island and Queens, New York participated in the first annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares volunteer event, partnering with The United Veterans Beacon House (UVBH) to support Long Island veterans. The UVBH is an organization that provides temporary and permanent residence for U. S. Military veterans, in addition to emergency, transitional and permanent residence for families and single men and women. Volunteers from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offices across Long Island and Queens performed yard work, and offered painting and cleaning services to veterans throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.

“I am so proud of the sales associates and leadership team that volunteered their time to help our country’s heroes,” said Laura Rittenberg, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Long Island and Queens, N.Y. “I have always believed that as realtors we are facilitators of the American Dream. By partnering with the United Veterans Beacon House, we have been given the opportunity to help those who protect that dream as well. The best and brightest stepped up to give back to our local communities for an organization that it is an honor and privilege to be associated with.”

More than 125 affiliated Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associates volunteered during the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day initiative to make a difference by giving back to veterans in local communities.

Tina Sferrazza, director of development for the United Veterans Beacon House added “Residents and UVBH project leaders are overwhelmed with gratitude. Thanks to the selfless efforts of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares volunteers, the men and women we represent have been given the opportunity to feel appreciated. We can’t thank you enough.”

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerages Cares is the Long Island and Queens, N.Y. chapter of the Realogy Foundation, a nonprofit organization operating as the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island and Queens, N.Y. The primary purpose of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares is to raise funds and provide financial support and assistance to community partners on Long Island and Queens via nonprofit organizations.
