Cops: Objects Thrown at Cars Nearby
In Syosset, damage to windshield at S&S Auto Repair, cops said.

Objects were flung at two cars near Syosset last week, according to Nassau County Police.
10 cars, including ones in Farmingdale, Syosset, Westbury, and Plainview, sustained damages.
In Levittown and South Farmingdale, two cars reportedly had objects thrown at them. The extent of the damage was unreported but police said the incidents happened late at night.

Also, Syosset's S&S Auto Repair reported a car with a damaged windshield.

- July 31: Criminal mischief; South Maple Street, Farmingdale; plastic under steering wheel of car damaged.
- Aug. 1: Criminal mischief; Target, Hicksville; tires slashed on car.
- Aug. 1: Criminal mischief; Hempstead Turnpike and Gardners Avenue Levittown; person threw an unknown object at a car.
- Aug. 3: Criminal mischief; Lester Place and Old Country Road, Plainview; passenger side mirror broken off on car.
- Aug. 4: Criminal mischief; West Gate and Hempstead Turnpike, South Farmingdale; object thrown at car.
- Aug. 4: Criminal mischief; East Drive, North Massapequa; mirror damaged on driver's side of car.
- Aug. 4: Criminal mischief; S&S Auto Repair, Syosset; windshield on car damaged.
- Aug. 6: Criminal mischief; Arbor Road, Syosset; tires slashed on car.
- Aug. 6: Criminal mischief; Cantiague Lane, Westbury; window broken on car.
- Aug. 6: Criminal mischief; Gables Drive, Hicksville; scratches found on car.
