DeBeneditti's Put Up for Sale

is for sale, according to the sign in front of the Jackson Avenue business in Syosset.

Residents first reported seeing the notice outside the florist in late August. The sign said the business was for sale by owner and that buyers could approach managers inside the florist.

According to DeBeneditti's staffers, the business is still open for business and will continue to be open while a buyer is sought.

DeBeneditti's managers could not be reached for comment.

DeBeneditti's has been a frequent donor of flowers to the Residents for a More Beautiful Syosset. The Residents have planted flowers in the across the street from , as well as to the annual planting of flowers in the Memorial Garden. the sites with the Residents as well.
