DNA Evidence Connects Man to Attempted Syosset Burglary: Police
The man tried to break into a home through a kitchen window last month, police say.

A Franklin Square man who attempted to break into a Syosset home last month was arrested Saturday for burglary after authorities connected him with DNA evidence found at the scene, police say.
According to authorities, Frank Brisco, 55, attempted to break into a Cold Spring Road home using a pry bar through a rear kitchen window but fled the scene after the homeowner returned home on June 10 at 8:37 p.m.
Brisco fled the scene on foot through rear yards but left his sweatshirt and pry bar nearby, police say. The items were brought to DNA testing and Brisco was matched to the scene of the crime, police say.
