Long Island High School for the Arts Open House

At the open house, participants get an opportunity to sketch from a live model, sit in on a jazz improv or dramatic happening, take a dance class, or join theatre techies in creating special effects. There will be a performance in the main theatre in addition to an exhibition in the art gallery. Participants can also talk to teachers and practicing professional artists, and learn more about the various programs offered at the LIHSA.
