Man Burglarized Syosset Business: Police
The man burglarized six businesses over a span of two months, police say.

A Hicksville man was arrested Tuesday for committing a string of commercial burglaries in Nassau County over the past two months, police say.
According to authorities, Scott D. Gilmor, 40, would forcibly enter buildings in Hicksville, Wantagh, Syosset and Westbury by prying open the front entry doors overnight. He would remove items such as cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes from the stores, police say.
Gilmor was arrested at 11:20 p.m. after authorities conducted a traffic stop and noticed burglar tools in plain view inside his vehicle, police say.
