Nassau Police Report: Week of February 16
Check out the recent crimes and arrests reported near the Syosset area.

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Feb. 2 to Feb. 8 and for the week of Feb. 16 to Feb. 23.
Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Syosset area over the past week as reported by police:
- Feb. 11: Philip Vozzo, 49, of Bayside was arrested for shoplifting from Home Depot on Jericho Turnpike in Jericho.
- Feb. 16: A woman reported that someone stole the license plates off her car on Blaine Avenue in East Meadow.
- Feb. 18: A woman reported that someone threw a brick through her rear car window on Red Maple Drive East in Wantagh.
- Feb. 18: A man reported that someone caused damage to his car while it was parked on Charles Avenue in Massapequa Park.
- Feb. 22: A woman reported that someone damaged her wooden stockade fence with black spray paint on East Gate in South Farmingdale.
- Feb. 22: Calvin Worthy, 58, of Jamaica was arrested for shoplifting from a store on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
- Feb. 22: Mark Chamberlain, 45, of Islip was arrested for shoplifting from Sears on North Broadway in Hicksville.
- Feb. 22: A woman reported that someone poured a brown, syrupy liquid on her car causing damage on Tuscala Street in Seaford.
