Nassau Police Report: Feb. 2 - Feb. 16

Check out the recent crimes and arrests reported near the Massapequa area.

Nassau County Police released the crime report for the week of Feb. 2 to Feb. 8 and for the week of Feb. 9 to Feb. 16.

Check out the following incidents and arrests near the Massapequa area over the past week as reported by police:

  • Feb. 1: Katheryn Palillio, 28, of Bethpage was arrested for shoplifting from a store on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
  • Feb. 2: A man reported that someone entered his car by breaking the window and removing his iPad Air, iPhone Nano and various personal property at Monroes Supper Club on Sunnyside Boulevard in Plainview.
  • Feb. 3: Brian Bruckner, 38, of Hicksville was arrested for shoplifting from Shop Rite on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage.
  • Feb. 6: A man reported that someone smashed the passenger side window of his car on S. Violet Street in Bethpage.
  • Feb. 7: An 18-year-old Massapequa Park man was arrested for possessing marijuana on Clark Avenue and Riverside Avenue in Massapequa.
  • Feb. 7: Shengqiu Weng, 37, of Syosset was arrested for DWI on I-495 exit 35 in North Hills.
  • Feb. 9: A man reported that someone cut the sidewall of his rear driver's side tire while it was parked on Connecticut Avenue in Massapequa.
  • Feb. 10: Zoila Liza, 34, of Copiague was arrested for shoplifting from Macys at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
  • Feb. 14: A woman reported that someone damaged her fender and the hood of her car while it was parked at the Equinox Fitness Club on Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury.
