Oyster Bay Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle

An Oyster Bay woman was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday night in Oyster Bay, the Homicide Squad reports.

According to police, Patricia White, 64, was walking to her car, located on the east side of Pine Hollow Road in the vicinity of 129, when she was struck by a 26-year-old woman driving a 2014 Jeep heading southbound at 10:20 p.m.

White was transported to Nassau University Medical Center by the Oyster Bay Fire Department. She was pronounced deceased at 11:16 p.m. by hospital staff.

Brake and safety checks were conducted at the scene.

Police do not suspect criminality at this time.
