Fifth graders travel west through their Westward Expansion Enrichment clusters.
Yee-haw! Fifth graders at are making their way to the frontier thanks to their participation in the Westward Expansion Enrichment clusters. A branch of social studies, the program works with The Oregon Trail Corporation, the Lewis and Clark Institute, the Transcontinental Railroad Society and the Gold Rush Association. Students track America's critical western growth using various modern tools, like using Google Earth to track the direction of the Transcontinental Railroad.
