Panera Scheduled to Open in Mid-June [Photos]

Construction is in full swing at the . According to Pat Friia of Doherty Enterprises, Inc., the owners of the property, the tentative grand opening is scheduled for June 11.

Original reports put the opening sometime in mid-May, but construction and licensing have pushed the opening to June.

Local officials will be invited to the Panera Bread grand opening for a bread breaking ceremony, according to Friia.

As of this report, says 60 percent of those polled are excited for the popular eatery to open. 26 percent said they are happy the former home of Dom & Luigi's Smokehouse Pizzeria will finally be occupied. 13 percent felt it could have been replaced with something better.
