PizzaRev-Syosset Opens with Fundraiser for 2016 Syosset Scholarship Fund

PizzaRev, a growing build-your-own artisanal pizza concept, has completed construction on its first Long Island location, at 408 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, and is set to open on Thursday, March 31. The new PizzaRev will mark the Grand Opening with a “Pizza for a Purpose” fundraising event. Guests are invited to “name the price” of their custom-built, personal-sized pizzas, with a suggested $8 contribution to benefit the 2016 Syosset Scholarship Fund. One hundred percent of donations from the day will benefit the fund, which helps Syosset High School seniors pursue degrees in accredited post high school programs.

“We look forward to serving the Syosset community and feel the best way to demonstrate our commitment is by benefiting the Syosset school district,” explains Mike Tochluk, who operates the new PizzaRev with partners Alan Shearer and Chuck Kwon. “The Syosset Scholarship Fund does terrific work for the area’s young people.”

What can families expect when they visit PizzaRev? According to Tochluk, a new way to experience pizza that is truly revolutionary.

“The option to choose your own crust and sauce and ‘build’ your own 11-inch pizza from a selection of cheeses and over 30 fresh toppings is a new concept for Syosset and the surrounding communities,” he observes. “With the recent installation of our custom-built, 900-degree stone hearth oven, Syosset guests will be able to craft their own artisanal-quality pizza and have it served piping hot in less than three minutes. We’ve already received a warm welcome from the community and we can’t wait to open our doors and start crafting!”

To celebrate the opening of the new Syosset restaurant, PizzaRev has launched a free-to-enter sweepstakes where five lucky guests will win Free Pizza for a Year.
