Here’s the story: We had a small leak in one of our bathrooms, and our next door neighbor (and good friend) had recommended a plumber. He was very nice, and finished the job in less than two hours. He was also extremely heavy, and I wasn’t sure he would have been able to get under the sink…but he did! My neighbor and I were chatting in my driveway, she with her back to the plumber’s car. While we were talking, he came out of my house, waved to us, and got into his car and closed the door.
My neighbor then said, “Wow! Did he gain WEIGHT! Unfortunately, just as she was saying this, he had opened his window! Clever as I am…I said – in a very loud voice – “I can’t WAIT to go there too!” My neighbor quickly understood the situation…and she immediately said “Yeah, I just can’t WAIT!”

Phew…we sure got out of THAT sticky situation. I can’t WAIT for the next one!!!

OK…so I’m in my 70s…ugh…did I really say that? Yeah, it’s true. I’ve tried anti-wrinkle creams…even tried Botox once, but that didn’t help. It only made my right eye droop. And of course lately I seem to be forgetting stuff…like…did I pay that bill yet…or…do I have a tennis game today or is it tomorrow? Stuff like that.
So one day not so long ago I was spending time with my (40-something-year-old) adorable son, and I told him how I often forget things. Not that long after, a package was delivered to my door. There were two bottles of a product called Onnit. It’s a natural supplement to improve memory. I called and thanked my son for being so thoughtful.
The only problem is: I KEEP FORGETTING TO TAKE IT!!!
