Syosset Resident Louis Rauchenberger to be honored at Covenant House's A Night of Broadway Stars June 9

Louis is being honored alongside Covenant House Board Member Philip Andryc, Director of Research at Berens Capital Management.

Syosset resident Louis Rauchenberger, Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., will be honored by Covenant House, the largest privately funded charity in the Americas providing loving care and vital services to homeless, abandoned, abused, trafficked, and exploited youth, at A Night of Broadway Stars on June 9.

Louis joined the board of Covenant House New York in December 2013. “The way Lou has become personally involved with Covenant House has changed the lives of thousands of homeless youth,” said Covenant House President Kevin Ryan. “His passion for our mission, and his genuine love and concern for our kids shines through in everything he does for our kids. Lou is a positive force in the lives of so many young people who need people just like Lou to show they care. We are so fortunate to have Lou as such an important member of our Covenant House family.”

Louis is being honored alongside Covenant House Board Member Philip Andryc, Director of Research at Berens Capital Management, and country music singer and songwriter Martina McBride, who will be receiving the Beacon of Hope Award.

“Being involved with Covenant House and getting to know some of the young people being helped here is an amazing experience,” said Lou. “The young people at Covenant House are filled with such spirit, such courage. They have had a tough start in life, facing abuse and abandonment that no young person should ever have to suffer. But they find their way to Covenant House where we can help them get off the streets forever. It is not easy work and it takes a lot of dedicated people, but I’ve seen firsthand that the volunteers and staff at Covenant House are rescuing kids from the streets and helping them build new lives. We become their family. I can’t think of a better investment in our future together than helping these amazing young people.”
