Trio Robs Nassau Burger Joint at Gunpoint

WOODBURY, NY - Three men robbed a Nassau burger joint at gunpoint Sunday night, according to Nassau Police.

Three men, one armed with a handgun, entered an unlocked back door of BurgerFi at 8063 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury and confronted an employee who was counting out the day's receipts in a back office area, police said.

After forcing him to the ground, the robbers proceeded to steal cash from the store's cash register drawers and then fled back out of the rear door into a parking lot, police said.
