Young Girl from Cold Spring Harbor Battling Rare Cancer

Luna Perrone from Cold Spring Harbor has been battling Ewing Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer for over 3 years. She was diagnosed shortly before her 10th birthday. During the 3 years of treatment she has been sharing her battle on Instagram with many followers who view her as an inspiration. Luna loves sharing her positivity with everyone and especially enjoys visiting other young patients during her hospital stays and providing toys and games to children she sees. She has been an inspiration in her fight to stay fit even through difficult treatments and has a cheerful disposition while struggling to fight this horrible illness.

Luna has just learned that the cancer which was first found in her pelvis, and later spread to her spine and brain, is now in her femur, rib and jaw. Luna hopes to be eligible for a trial at a cancer center somewhere in the US.
