Sensei Sandy BJJ has opened ten spots for local kids, teens, and adults who want to try Jiu-Jitsu.
Each approved applicant will receive three free reserved classes through August 2.
Sandy starts with a Goal Mapping visit at the Tannersville studio. He will show you the room, ask what you want from training, review your schedule, and discuss any injuries or concerns. He will then choose a class and partner that fit your needs.
Beginners train through the academy’s Beginner Lane. Sandy introduces one position, one goal, and one safety rule before each activity. Students practice against controlled resistance instead of standing through long demonstrations or repeating movements without a partner.
Kids ages 5 to 9, teens ages 10 to 17, and adults can apply. You can start without martial arts experience.
