Authorities said the man used the identity of a Justice Department attorney.

GREENBURGH, NY — A Bronx resident was arraigned Tuesday on a 19-count indictment related to the theft of two luxury cars. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Anthony Williams, 29, of the Bronx, was charged with the following:

  • Two counts of second-degree grand larceny, felonies
  • Two counts of first-degree identity theft, felonies
  • Three counts of second-degree forgery, felonies
  • Three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, felonies

Williams pleaded not guilty to all charges and was remanded into custody.

Scarpino said Williams stole the identity of a U.S. Department of Justice attorney and used that stolen ID to finance two BMW automobiles at the Ray Catena BMW of Westchester on Tarrytown Road in the Town of Greenburgh.
