Burger Eatery to Replace Jack & Dyl's in Tarrytown
"Little b's," a comfy new BYOB spot will provide an informal gathering place for local fans to watch their favorite teams on large-screen television. It will stay open till the wee hours of the morning.
Jack & Dyl's, a familiar landmark on Main Street in Tarrytown, is no more.
After seven years of offering American comfort food such as boneless beef short ribs, and shrimp and corn fritters, it has closed its doors. In its place a burger/short-bite establishment called "Little b's" will open in about two weeks when renovation is completed. Besides a variety of hamburgers, the new eatery will serve easy-to-eat light and snack fare such as mac and cheese, barbecue, and pulled pork.
Little b's will serve wine by the glass and beer on tap.

The burgers can be customized by patrons who choose a cheese topping and up to four additional ingredients at no extra charge. Crispy French fries will accompany a burger at a nominal extra charge.
The new restaurant will have an enlarged and enhanced bar, now under construction, and a full complement of television receivers for sports enthusiasts. How late it will stay open hasn't been determined but it will seek to accommodate after-show patrons dropping by from the nearby Tarrytown Music Hall and late owls.
