Chamber to Host Business-to-Business Networking Event
"Mingling" conference and buffet dinner at Lyndhurst on July 28 will acquaint attendees with Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown Restaurants, Businesses and Merchants.
Entrepreneurs and business representatives from across Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties will have an opportunity to meet the proprietors of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown restaurants and liquor stores – and taste their wares – at a Lyndhurst networking conference on July 28.
Seventeen nearby Chambers are lending support to the Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce, the conference organizer, by helping to publicize the event, which will showcase the culinary offerings in the villages.
"This is becoming a Best of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow event for food, wine and beer," said John Sardy, Executive Director of the Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce.

The event is primarily an opportunity for business-minded individuals to network and make connections with other representatives from across the region, anyone can sign up to attend through the Chamber's website.
Sardy said that representatives of the other chambers will be introduced and marketing literature will be available, but otherwise formal talks or presentations are not planned.

The cost of admission, including food, beverages and take-home literature, and a chance to talk with local entrepreneurs is $55 per person.
The conference sponsors and participants include:

Sleepy Hollow Tarrytown Chamber of Commerce members assisting with the arrangements include Lyndhurst executive Christine Plazas and Linda Rey, who was named 2010 Person of the Year by the Chamber.
The meeting will be conducted in a large (150-by-100-foot) tent on the Lyndhurst grounds. Music will be provided by Chris Reising. A similar business-to-business networking program is planned forat Hudson Harbor in Tarrytown in January, 2012.
