TARRYTOWN, NY — State Police in Troop K said they removed 28 impaired drivers from public roadways over the July 4 weekend. Among them was a Bronx man who apparently stopped his car on the Sprain Brook Parkway — not on the shoulder. On July 4, State Police from SP Hawthorne arrested Male Jackson, 55, of Bronx, NY, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on the Sprain Brook Parkway in the town of Greenburgh, when he was found parked in a lane of travel. Saturday, May 16th, the Town of Greenburgh will hold its 3rd annual Artists and Crafters Market at Presser Park (former Webb Field), 218 S. Central Avenue, Hartsdale. This free, family-friendly event is dedicated to introducing and promoting local artisans and fostering a deeper appreciation for the creative process within our community. More than 30 artists and crafters of all ages and in all media will showcase and sell their creative expressions. Each exhibitor also will offer a free, hands-on lesson, presentation, creative experience or something interesting and dynamic for marketgoers of all ages. The Artists and Crafters Market will take place from 11 am until 4 pm - with a rain-date of Sunday, May 17th. Free parking is available nearby.
