Donations Needs to Help Ulster County Firefighters Battling Massive Brush Fire

Needed items can be dropped off through Friday evening.

The Tarrytown Fire Department is taking up a collection to assist the Ulster County Firefighters as they battle a huge brush fire.

A posting on the Instagram account of @kempterfirewire is asking for donations to be dropped from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. through Friday off at the Consolidated Engine Company located at 177 Sheldon Ave. in Tarrytown.

What the firefighters are most in need of is bottled water, socks, toilet paper and chain saws.
