Edgemont, Scarsdale, Greenburgh and Tarrytowns Schools Announce New Friday Schedule

Several Westchester County school districts have called for early dismissals and/or canceled afternoon activities on Friday, March 20, due to pending inclement weather:

• Bedford Central, 10:20 a.m. dismissal for high and middle schools, 11:30 a.m. for Elementary schools
• Blind Brook, 12:15 p.m. dismissal for high and middle schools, 1 p.m. for Ponterio Ridge Street
• BOCES -Southern Westchester, 11:30 a.m. dismissal
• Byram Hills Central, staggered early dismissals starting with the high school at 11:15 a.m.
• Chappaqua Central, 11 a.m. dismissal for the middle school, 11:10 a.m. for the high school and 11:50 for the elementary school
• Croton-Harmon, 11 a.m. dismissal for the high and middle schools, 11:45 a.m. for the elementary school
• Eastchester, staggered early dismissals starting with Greenvale at 11:30 a.m.
• Edgemont, 12 p.m. dismissal
• Elmsford, staggered early dismissals starting with Hamilton at 10:45 a.m.
• Greenburgh Central, staggered early dismissals starting with pre-K at 11:30 a.m. and high and middle schools at noon
• Greenburgh-Graham, 11 a.m. early dismissal
• Greenburgh-North Castle, 11:30 a.m. early dismissal
• Hendrick Hudson, staggered early dismissals starting with the high school at 10:45 a.m.
• Iona Prep, 1:15 p.m. early dismissal
• Katonah-Lewisboro, staggered early dismissals starting with the middle school at 10:15 a.m.
• Lakeland Central, staggered early dismissals starting with the high school at 10 a.m.
• North Salem Central, noon early dismissal
• Pleasantville, 10:30 a.m. early dismissal
• Pocantico Hills, noon early dismissal
• Port Chester, 11:30 a.m. early dismissal; musical “Rent” rescheduled to 7 p.m. on Sunday, 3/22
• Rippowam Cisqua School, closed
• Rye City, dismissal at regular time but after-school activities are canceled
• Scarsdale, dismissal at regular time but after-school activities are canceled
• Somers Central, staggered early dismissals starting with the high school at 10:30 a.m.
• Tarrytowns, 10:45 a.m. early dismissal
• Tuckahoe, 11:07 a.m. early dismissal
• Valhalla, 11 a.m. early dismissal
• White Plains, noon early dismissal
• Yonkers, 11 a.m. early dismissal
• Yorktown Central, staggered early dismissals starting with the high school at 9:40 a.m.
