Greenburgh Seeks To Appoint Parking District Commissioner

HARTSDALE, NY — The town of Greenburgh is looking to appoint a new commissioner of the Hartsdale Public Parking district.

The district, which oversees the day-to-day operations of the parking lots and garages in Hartsdale, has three non-salaried commissioners who make policy, according to Supervisor Paul Feiner.

Bill Sicari and Myrna Anover are the two current members of the parking district.

Anyone interested in being considered for appointment to the board of the district should email the Town Board.

According to town officials, qualifications for the position include being a property owner in unincorporated Greenburgh and having business acumen, inter-personal skills with a history of managing staff, direct experience in human resources and/or financial management roles and construction management or civil engineering background. Sales, marketing and digital technology experience is a plus.

The Hartsdale Public Parking district was created by an act of the state legislature in 1952.
