The online poll is open for a week, and the name choices suggested by students are amusing.

PEREGRIN'S NEST, NY — There's an online poll, now open, to name the four peregrine falcon chicks nesting high atop the Mario Cuomo Bridge. And the names, picked by schoolkids, range from the cute to the downright amusing.
There's Fluffy, for instance. And then there's Cardi Beak.

You can also keep track of the baby falcons' progress by using the Thruway Authority's FalconCam here. Just beware that the camera, which takes a photo each minute, could show actions that may be unpleasant to watch, and it is possible that some of the fledglings may not survive into adulthood.
