Report: Bullet Fragment that Hit Woman was from Greenburgh Shooting Range
The evidence that the bullet came from the range was circumstantial.

A bullet fragment that struck a woman in the leg near the Westchester Police Revolver and Rifle League on Ardsley Road had been fired from a gun at the shooting range, according to a report obtained by The Journal News.
The evidence that the bullet came from the range was circumstantial, however the woman was only about 500 feet from the range when the incident took place in June. Gunfire also was heard by the woman and officers in the area.
The woman, whose name was not disclosed, suffered an abrasion to her knee, according to The Journal News, adding that the bullet hit an “improperly used” metal target that likely caused the fragment to ricochet.
