Sleepy Hollow's Very Hot and Humid Weekend Forecast

Temperatures will be in the 90s throughout the Hudson Valley Friday, with only slightly cooler temps for Saturday and Sunday.

We’re also looking at a chance for some isolated thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon and evening. The chance for storms is low though.

In reality, there is no real significant chance of rain in the forecast through next Thursday, except for some showers and storms possible late Monday into Tuesday morning.

So here is the weekend forecast for southern Westchester County from the National Weather Service:

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 96. West wind 6 to 9 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 71. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Southwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 69.
