Crimes Nearby: Cops Seek Info on Tattoo Equipment Thieves

Suffolk Police are looking for information on two men who stole $1,500 worth of tattoo equipment from Brotherhood Tattoos on Middle Country Road in Coram. The two men smashed the front door of the tattoo parlor and unlawfully entered the building on Jan. 9 at 2 a.m., according to Police. Once inside, they stole tattoo equipment valued at $1,500. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. Video surveillance is also available. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

NESCONSET

Anthony Licausi, 27, of Farmingville, was arrested Jan. 31 in Nesconset on a charge of third-degree grand larceny, a felony, and a charge of resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Reports state at roughly midnight Licausi stole property belonging to an unidentified person. Police also said that at 1:10 p.m. Licausi resisted arrest by pushing away from police officers to avoid being handcuffed.

PORT JEFFERSON

On Feb. 5 multiple people got into a pushing and shoving match in the 7-Eleven on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station. An 18-year-old man got a bloody nose in the incident but refused medical attention.
