Mirabelle Restaurant Serves Mother’s Day Prix Fixe

Chef Guy Reuge of Mirabelle Restaurant at Three Village Inn (150 Main Street, Stony Brook, NY 11790 [631] 751-0555 www.threevillageinn.com) presents a three-course Mother’s Day dinner menu on Sunday, May 13 from 1 to 7 p.m.  Cost is $59 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended.  The menu, subject to change, is as follows:

 

APPETIZER

*Pan-friend soft shell crab, fennel and radish slaw, lemon vinaigrette

*Warm goat cheese salad, artisan greens, mustard vinaigrette

*Chilled tomato soup, cucumber ragout, unfiltered olive oil

*Seared foie gras (supp. $12), rhubarb-strawberry marmalade, toasted brioche, caramelized macadamia nuts

*Duck confit spring roll, spicy peanut mayonnaise, plum jam

 

MAIN COURSE

*Leek and shiitake mushroom risotto, roasted pearl onions, fried carrots

*Pan-seared Arctic char, pickled ramps, ramp sauce, pea flan, potato croquette

*Seafood fricassee, sticky rice

*Roasted beef fillet (supp. $7), morel cream sauce, fingerling potatoes, fava beans

*Honey glazed Berkshire rack of pork, peas á la française

 

DESSERT

*Chocolate caramel mousse cake with salted caramel ice cream

*Vanilla yogurt parfait with tarragon strawberries

*Ginger almond tart
