Why Six Western New York Betting Parlors Are Shutting Down (wyrk.com) — An Off-Track Betting parlor in Tonawanda is among six Western New York locations slated to close as more gamblers move online and losses mount. Western Regional OTB plans to consolidate operations, potentially sell properties, and redirect proceeds to local governments, while keeping just two branches open statewide.
