• 2 killed in Enfield plane crash shortly after takeoff from Ithaca (ithacajournal.com) — Trumansburg Fire Department helped respond to a fatal small-plane crash Sunday in neighboring Enfield, where two people died after taking off from Ithaca Airport. Investigators from federal and county agencies are still determining what caused the apparent mechanical issue before the aircraft went down, though no homes, other people, or roads were affected.
