A Popular Pilates Studio Signs A New Lease On The Upper East Side
The fitness brand will open at the base of a new condo building on the Upper East Side.
UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — BODYROK, A popular Pilates-forward fitness studio, is coming to the Upper East Side.
BODYROK, a high-intensity, Pilates-inspired workout brand, has signed a lease for a new studio at The Harper, a luxury condominium building on East 86th Street between First Avenue and Second Avenue, developers announced this week.
The new outpost will mark BODYROK’s first location on the Upper East Side and its 10th studio in New York City. The company operates more than 80 locations nationwide.

BODYROK signed a 10-year lease for a roughly 2,400-square-foot space at the base of the 21-story building, according to Izaki Group Investments, the developer behind The Harper.
Jakob Irion, CEO and co-founder of BODYROK, said the Upper East Side location is a key step in the company’s New York expansion.

"The Harper is a natural fit for BODYROK’s newest studio and an exciting next chapter in our New York expansion," said Jakob Irion, CEO of BODYROK. "The surrounding neighborhood, paired with the building’s thoughtful design, makes it an ideal setting to bring our Pilates-inspired workouts to the Upper East Side."
Founded in California in 2012, BODYROK is known for its 45-minute sculpt classes that combine strength training, cardio and core work using custom reformer machines. The workouts emphasize controlled movements, precision and full-body engagement.
The new Upper East Side studio, located at 310 East 86th St., is expected to open by summer 2026, the owner said.
