The Democratic politician is recovering at Lenox Hill Hospital.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — Upper East Side State Senator Liz Krueger is recovering after suffering a "mild stroke" last week, her staff told Patch.
According to Justin Flagg, Krueger's director of communications, the Democratic politician has been recovering at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side and is expected to make a full recovery.
"Senator Krueger had a mild stroke late last week, but is up and about and doing well, and a full recovery is expected," Flagg said. "She is in regular contact with Senate leadership and staff while she takes time to rest and recover. She and her family are greatly appreciative of the responsiveness of the ER and Stroke Teams at Lenox Hill Hospital."
