The revamped Grand Bazaar market will hold a grand opening ceremony and feature several new vendors.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Upper West Side's GreenFlea Market, founded in 1985, is rolling out its revamped look during a grand opening ceremony Sunday, Sept. 11.

The market is being rebranded as the "Grand Bazaar," and will feature several new vendors plying trendy crafts and other goods. The grand opening ceremony will run from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and take place in the market's usual location in the schoolyard between West 77th and 66th streets, according to a Facebook event page.

The market is being re-branded, but its mission and charitable purpose will remain, according to its website.

Profits from the market benefit over 4,000 school children by providing them with art enrichment programs, books, supplies, teaching assistants, sports and chess programs," reads the website.

The schools that benefit from the proceeds of the market are PS 87, The Computer School, PS 334 (Anderson Program) and PS 452.
