Lincoln Center Reveals 2019 Mozart Festival Programs
The Mostly Mozart Festival returns to Lincoln Center this summer.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Lincoln Center has announced its full set of programming for its annual summer festival honoring the life and music of Austrian classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
This year's Mosty Mozart Festival will run from July 10 to August 10 and build upon last year's festival, which was one of the largest in the decades-long event, Lincoln Center officials announced. The festival will feature "international multidisciplinary productions, acclaimed artists of all genres, introductions to emerging creative voices" and works commissioned specifically for the festival, according to a Lincoln Center press release.
"Mozart continuously challenged himself and those around him to propel forward: to test and grow, to innovate and transform. The Mostly Mozart Festival takes its inspiration from those qualities, and with New York City as its setting, has evolved from its roots as a summertime music event into a vibrant, international arts festival known for its presentation of visionary new work across disciplines and its fresh, dynamic approach to the classics," Jane Moss, Lincoln Center's Ehrenkranz artistic director, said in a statement.
