Man Robbed, Attacked In Manhattan, Police Say
Police are searching for six suspects after a 37-year-old man was robbed and beaten up on the West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police are searching for six suspects on Tuesday after a man was attacked and robbed on the border of Hell's Kitchen and the Upper West Side, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, a 37-year-old man was in front of 330 West 58th Street, near Columbus Circle, waiting to sell some shoes valued at approximately $2,300, when five men and one woman drove up to the man in a white Dodge Durango and a white Jeep Grand Cherokee on April 2 at 9:50 p.m.
The attackers ganged up on the man and forced him into the Durango, where he was punched and kicked multiple times and slashed in the face with a sharp object, police said.

The group ripped the victim’s wallet and other personal property from him and then had the victim exit the vehicle near West 54th Street and Avenue of the Americas, police said.
From there, the group drove off, heading east on 54th Street, police said.

After the robbery, medics transported the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
Police said no arrests have been made yet, but that they are investigating the incident and searching for six people.
Police have released surveillance photos of two of the suspects.
