The Museum Of Natural History Is Bringing Back Adult Sleepovers

The 21+ sleepovers include champagne, jazz and the ability to walk through the near-empty museum after dark.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — For two nights this summer New York City's adults will have the chance to live out their childhood dreams and sleep over at the American Museum of Natural History.

The American Museum of Natural History's two sleepovers this year will take place on May 5 and June 30, according to the museum. Whether you want to prowl the nearly-empty halls at night to check out exhibits, attend a special planetarium presentation or just get sauced on champagne and pass out underneath a 94-foot-long blue whale, the museum sleepover caters to all.

"This is a one-of-a-kind evening that offers visitors an intimate adventure of discovery that is unlike anything they have ever experienced," according to a museum press release.
