New Vet Clinic Opens On UWS With Coronavirus Safety Measures
Bond Vet was already near done when the coronavirus hit NYC, allowing it to be one of only a few new businesses opening during the pandemic.

UPPER WEST SIDE, MANHATTAN — In what has become a rarity during the coronavirus pandemic, a new business has debuted on the Upper West Side.
Bond Vet — a veterinary clinic that also has locations on the Upper East Side and in Brooklyn — opened up its third location on Amsterdam Avenue on Monday.
The veterinary practice had already just about finished construction on its new 352 Amsterdam Ave. storefront before a stay-at-home order shut down nearly all business in New York City, making it so the clinic could still open. Emergency veterinary services are among the essential businesses that are allowed to say open during the stay-at-home order.

"...We instituted several measures to adapt to a quickly evolving situation, keep our doors open, serve our community and keep our team paid and supported," Bond Vet said.

The telehealth option allows pet owners to stay home while still being able to ask vets about their pet's behavior, the clinic said.
The drop-off visits will ensure that Bond Vet has as few popped in the clinic as possible. Its "care coordinators" will meet clients at the door to take their pet, conduct exams while on the phone or video call with the client and discuss the costs before taking any steps.
The online events will include "doga," which the clinic has done with Lululemon at its other tow locations, a pet portrait class and question and answer sessions with their veterinarians.
The Upper West Side location is Bond Vet's third walk-in and urgent care veterinary clinic. Its Upper East Side location opened in December and it also has a location in Cobble Hill in Brooklyn.
