Susan Leicher Releases Debut Novel "Acts of Assumption"

Susan Leicher, author of The New York Women’s Foundation's Voices From the Field series, read from her debut novel Acts of Assumption on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Macaulay Honors College on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. A book signing followed.

Acts of Assumption is the story of two young women whose love is challenged by the faith and cultural differences of their communities.

A portion of the proceeds from the book will be donated to The New York Women's Foundation's IGNITE! Program for Girls and Young Women.

The event was hosted by The New York Women’s Foundation.
