UWS Resident Killed After Hit To Head During Robbery: Police
The robbery took place in October at the corner of East 122nd Street and 3rd Avenue, according to police.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side resident was assaulted and killed during an October robbery in East Harlem, police said on Wednesday.
George Pagan, 62-years-old, was hit in the head during a robbery that happened on Oct. 22 at the corner of East 122nd Street and 3rd Avenue, according to police.
Pagan died seven days later at the NYC Health + Hospital/Harlem.

The Medical Examiner determined that Pagan's head trauma was the cause of the death, and the case was ruled a homicide.
Pagan lived on West 87th Street near Amsterdam Avenue.

The subsequent police investigation into the incident led to the arrest of two people in November, 17-year-old Anthony Santiago and 27-year-old Benjamin Houston. Both men lived in the area near where the assault took place, according to police.
NYPD charged both men with murder, robbery, and assault.
