Long Island’s Fourth Annual Brain
Aneurysm Awareness Walk
on Saturday, September 29th at Jones
Beach

MANHASSET, NY – On Saturday, September 29th, the Brain Aneurysm Center of the North
Shore-LIJ Health System’s Cushing Neuroscience Institute
(CNI), along with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (BAF),
will host Long Island’s Fourth Annual Brain Aneurysm Awareness Walk at Jones Beach State Park to promote awareness and education. Proceeds raised from the
walk will go to CNI’s Brain Aneurysm Center and the Brain Aneurysm Foundation to support essential research that may directly benefit those affected and help to
reduce the incidence of ruptured aneurysms.


Hundreds of individuals are expected to attend this
fun-filled event! Participants can choose to do a two-mile walk or a four-mile fun run, all for a good cause. WALK-FM 97.5 will provide music, entertainment
and giveaways at the event. Registration for the walk begins at 8:30am at Field 5, 1000 Ocean Parkway, Wantagh, NY. The start time is 10am and will be held rain
or shine. The registration fee is $25 and includes the cost of parking and snacks. Tee-shirts will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis. To pre-register for the walk, go to www.bafound.org.
