Momma's House Named Finalist in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good Program

Wantagh-based mother-child residence could win one of 100 cars Toyota is donating.

in Wantagh is among the 500 finalists in 100 Cars for Good, a national philanthropic program where Toyota is giving away 100 cars to 100 nonprofits over 100 days.

Winners will be selected each day by the public through voting on Facebook, beginning this Monday.

a home for young mothers aged 17 to 23 years and their babies. For approximately two years, the young mothers at MOMMAS house continue education or vocational experience interrupted by pregnancy. 

“We are grateful for the enormous impact that these nonprofits have each day and hope that 100 Cars for Good will play an important role in raising awareness of their work and helping these vital organizations make an even bigger difference across Long Island," said Jim Lentz, president and chief executive officer of Toyota Motor Sales.
