New Wantagh Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza Opens Its Doors

Restaurant chain opens 36th location in new retail plaza on Sunrise Highway.

After months in the making, a new Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Wantagh is now a reality. 

The Fort Lauderdale , Fla.-based restaurant chain opened its 36th location on Sunrise Highway Tuesday in the new Wantagh Town Plaza that was formerly the site of Nassau OTB. Anthony's, which is owned by Franklin Square native Anthony Bruno, also has Nassau County locations in Carle Place and Woodbury. 

The new Wantagh Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is open daily starting at 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and closes at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
