Wantagh Men Who Popped Manhole Cover And Entered Sewers Under Investigation: PD (patch.com) — Residents in Wantagh are being alerted after several men reportedly removed a manhole cover at Wantagh Avenue and Jerusalem Avenue, climbed into the sewer system, and vanished before police and firefighters arrived. Authorities searched nearby tunnels but found no one and have not yet identified the individuals, keeping the unusual incident under active investigation.

Wantagh School District Welcomes 13 New Faculty Members (patch.com) — Wantagh families will see 13 new faculty members in classrooms this school year, as the district just wrapped up its annual new teacher orientation.
