Police: Man Shot in the Back at Freeport Recording Studio

Cops searching for information after man was shot at Sound Castle Recording Studio Monday night.

Nassau County Police are searching for a subject who shot a man in the back inside a Freeport recording studio Monday night.

Police said the 26-year-old victim had just walked into Sound Castle Recording Studio at 9:40 p.m. Monday when he was shot in the back.

The victim left the studio, inside Suite 306 at 18 E. Sunrise Highway, and flagged down a Nassau County Police Department ambulance near the Freeport LIRR station, cops said.

The victim was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was unable to describe the gunman, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
