Salt N Pepa, TLC Coming To Jones Beach Theater In September, Artists Announce

WANTAGH, NY — Long Island concertgoers won’t have to go chasing waterfalls this summer to see a pair of storied R&B groups play, thanks to a newly announced tour date that’ll see Salt N Pepa and TLC perform at the Northwell at Jones Beach Theater.

The artists announced Thursday that tickets were on sale for their “It’s Iconic” tour, featuring En Vogue, with the first performance taking place Aug. 15 in Franklin, TN. For Long Islanders, the concert will roll through Wantagh Sept. 15. Wantagh’s concert date isn’t the only New York date on the tour, but an Aug. 27 gig in Saratoga Springs and an Aug. 31 performance in Darien might be a bit too far of a trip for most visitors to make.

The R&B joint performance is just the latest tour to announce it’s coming to Wantagh, joining a summer slate that already features Chris Stapleton, Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz and the Wu-Tang Clan.
