Seaford Students' Artwork Honored
Five high school students had their art recognized by Scholastic.

From the Seaford School District: Five artists from Seaford High School were honored for their work at the regional level in the Scholastic Art and Writing contest.
The students were recognized for their talents in several artistic categories. Their work was entered into the competition by art department Chairman Curtis Tripoli and art teacher Michael Kerr. The honored artists were:
- Kimberly Draws, junior: Digital Art Gold Key, the Editorial Cartoon Silver Key and a Comic Art honorable mention.
- Kendall Lowinger, senior: Digital Art Gold Key
- Taylor Stone, senior, Comic Art Silver Key, Comic Art Silver Key and Editorial Cartoon Silver Key
- Isabella Torelli, junior: Comic Art Silver Key
- Zoe Zedalis, senior: Digital Art Gold Key and Art Silver Key
The students will all be awarded certificates from Scholastic Art and Writing. Gold Key winners will be automatically entered to the national competition with a chance to have their artwork displayed at Carnegie Hall.
