Seaford Students Collect Books For The Needy
The students collected hundreds of books in just a few days.

WANTAGH-SEAFORD, NY - From Seaford School District: Seaford Manor Elementary School students shared their love of reading with others during a recently collection for the Book Fairies. During a 10-day drive that ended on Valentine’s Day, children donated hundreds of gently used books.
The Long Island-based nonprofit organization collects reading material for people in need throughout the metropolitan New York area. The collection drive at Seaford Manor was organized by reading teachers Suzanne Elefante, Cailin Healey, Liz Vaeth and Laurie Walegir. Students helped sort the donations by age group, from preschool through adult.
