Wantagh Knights Of Columbus Seeks Donations At Weekend Food Drive

WANTAGH, NY — Residents can help out those in need this weekend. A summer food drive is scheduled for the St. Frances de Chantal Knights of Columbus in Wantagh.

Organizers seek non-perishable items including coffee, canned fruit, cereal and cookies, the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce posted on its Facebook page.

Gift cards and cash are also welcome. All donations will be accepted at the church's front door.

Items donated will be given to the St. Frances de Chantal Outreach program.

The food drive is planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
